The family's roots are in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh — the heartland of Telugu culture, one of India's classical languages with a rich literary and artistic tradition. The festivals Krthin celebrates are distinctly Telugu in character: Bathukamma, Bhogi, and Ugadi are not pan-Indian — they are Telugu.

Krthin has visited India three times — December 2023, March 2025, and August 2025 — spending extended time with family in Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The festivals he celebrates at home in Redmond are the same ones he experiences in their full form during these visits.
